研究领域/概况

(2002.9 - 2008.8) I focused on nanothermadynamics, and established some thermodynamical models to represent the phenomena in nanoscale such as phase transition of low-dimensional materials, size dependent surface energy, and structural stability.
(2008.9 - 2010.7) My work is concentrated on the evolution of bandgap of ZnO nanostructures modulated by imposing strain or electrical field using the DFT method.
(2010.8 -) I focused on the calculation of the magnetic and electronic properties of graphene and silicene with defect and nanohybrides with BN sheet.
